San Francisco surprised us all! This year's meeting featured a talk by Daniel Vu on starting a pediatric glaucoma service in New England, while Anil Mandal Kumar reviewed his findings of a 20-year study measuring the longterm impact of his work at LV Prasad in Hyderabad. CGRN announced the launch of a global training & evaluation rubrics for pediatric glaucoma. AAO featured 2 new lectures in Childhood Glaucoma during both Glaucoma Subspecialty Day and Pediatric Ophthalmology.

50 members attended this year's breakfast meeting. Updates on Pediatric Preventable Blindness and the findings of the 3psi (Quality of Life) Questionnaire were presented. Jamie Brandt introduced the creation of the North American Pediatric Glaucoma Society (NAPGS). Guest speaker Sushmita Kaushik introduced the Indian Pediatric Glaucoma Society and her center, PGI Chandigarh, the only tertiary pediatric glaucoma care center in the Northern States of India. Additional guest speaker Carolina Prado introduced members to her pediatric glaucoma practice at APEC, Mexico's oldest and largest eye hospital. Maria Fernanda Villalba spoke about the current and future uses of NGS Techniques while Huda Sheheitli provided an update to the Severity Staging System of Childhood Glaucoma.
